About Patrick Loyd

Patrick is a local Southern CA resident, born and raised in Glendora. As a child, he enjoyed the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains riding his mountain bike with his brother and friends. On the weekends, when he could catch a ride to Orange County he would soak up the sun and surf, this is where he started to develop his passion for surfing and Orange County. 

Eventually, he moved to Laguna Beach and started his career in Real Estate selling new homes for Shea. For the span of 17 years, Patrick has sold over 3,500 new homes throughout Orange County, including San Clemente, Aliso Viejo, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Irvine, Yorba Linda, and Huntington Beach. Patrick’s final community that he launched was Brightwater in Huntington Beach, selling coastal view homes that were priced as high as $4,500,000.00. He received numerous awards including 3 MAME awards throughout his career. 

In 2016 Patrick decided it was time to change up his career and join his wife Lisa, who was working in the resale side of real estate. Patrick is a talented agent that brings many outstanding qualities to his clients,  his understanding of market conditions with the ability to negotiate complex transactions is something that keeps his clients coming back and sending referrals his way. 

Patrick lives with his wife Lisa and their three children in the Seacliff area in Huntington Beach. His son Tanner is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at San Diego State University due to graduate in June 2023. Patrick’s daughter Tatum is a competitive equestrian rider, she shows in the jumper ring and is a sophomore at Huntington Beach High School. His youngest son Trenton is an 8th grader at Ethel Dwyer Middle School and is a basketball player. Trent competes on a travel club team and plays for the Dwyer Middle School team. Patrick’s wife Lisa is also on the Patrick Loyd team. When she isn’t working with Patrick she is often seen down at the barn with Tatum or watching Trenton's games.

During his downtime, Patrick can be found in the water surfing on his SUP or longboard or driving to Mammoth to hit the slopes. His intense love for basketball is something that he enjoys in all aspects, whether playing the game or watching the Lakers. This year Patrick has volunteered to be the head coach of Dwyer Middle School Basketball team. 

Patrick’s love of real estate is reflected in his enthusiasm for selling Orange County and particularly Brightwater. His greatest achievements are his family and his career.
